The American bulldog is a bit rough and a tough dog that is crossed between a bullmastiff, English Bulldog, and American Pit Bull Terrier. The Bulldog is a powerful and aggressive dog that was and is presently used in guard work, farm work (against poachers and wild animals), and bull-baiting that involves bears, boars, and buffaloes. Today, the Bulldog is scarcely used for dogfighting, but mostly used as a true farm protector.
