The Staff is crossed with many breeds such as the Bulldog, Mastiff, and the old English terrier. Small in size, but is a fast, fierce, and powerful dog that was used for bull baiting, guard work, and dogfighting. The Staff has the characteristics of most of the Pit Bull Terrier and is a true member of the fighting group.
